Anushka sharma is a Bollywood producer and actress. She has won many acting prizes and is considered to be one of the actors with the highest salaries. Anushka Sharma born 1st May 1988, Ayodhya located in Uttar Pradesh. Her parents were Kumar Sharma & Ashima Sharma. Anushka was born to a colonel who retired. She is the daughter of the housewife. Karnesh Sharma, Anushka's older brother, has served as an Merchant Navy officer and is an upcoming film director. Anushka Sharma graduated from Army School, Bangalore and is currently pursuing a an undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka Sharma holds a Master's Degree in Economics. Anushka was always aspired to be either a model or a journalist or an actor, but she never thought of it as a profession. Anushka moved to Mumbai after completed her graduation and enrolled herself at the Elite Model Management, and was coached by the stylist Prasad Bidapa. Anushka was selected by Wendell Rodricks as the final model for his Les Vamps Show, which took place at Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. Anushka Sharma, along with her modeling career joined an acting school and began giving auditions to films. In 2008, Anushka Sharma was the first actress to make her debut in the movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi alongside Shah Rukh Khan. In her screen test she refused to perform the test in a hurry and instead spent the day off to practice. Later on she was cast in three films for Yash Raj Films. The role she played was that of a younger wife to an actor of middle age (Shah Rukh Khan) in the film. The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was a part of the cast along with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang and Vir Das in the movie Badmash Company. The film received mixed praises. Anushka appeared in a film named Band Baaja Baaraat, starring Ranveer in which she portrayed an American Punjabi girl from middle-class who starts her wedding planning company. The film was praised by critics and was widely regarded as a sleeper to be a success. Anushka was able to complete the contract for three films with Yash Raj Films.
